Salma Salahuddin
Salma Salahuddin, born in Makassar on December 18, 1990, has been a dedicated member of Sokola Pesisir Makassar since 2006. Starting as a student in a computer class, she soon developed a passion for photography and videography, which she explored through Sokola Pesisir’s entrepreneurship classes. Salma has since co-produced approximately six short films with the Sokola Pesisir team and played an active role in participatory research on waste in Kelurahan Mariso, presenting the results through a short film format. In 2023, Salma took part in the Makassar Biennale as an artist with a film project. Currently, she is involved in mentoring youth classes and supporting early childhood education administration at Sokola Pesisir.
